Little Italy · San Diego
Casa Verde is a farm-to-table Mexican kitchen where every plate begins at a San Diego farm and ends under the marigold lights.
Sourced each morning from growers across San Diego County.
Wood, comal & molcajete — the old methods, done with care.
The menu shifts with the harvest, never the other way around.

Our Story
Casa Verde began with a simple homesick craving: the smell of a Oaxacan market at dawn — masa on the comal, chiles toasting, limes cut by the crate. We built our kitchen to chase that feeling.
We partner with small San Diego farms and day-boat fishermen, press our own tortillas, and grind mole the way it has always been ground. Nothing arrives frozen. Everything arrives verde — green, alive, and freshly picked.
